授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives	獨協大学大学院博士前期課程のCPに沿って、文学分野における研究能力を高め、DPで求められている言語運用能力、問題設定、資料収集?分析能力、論文作成能力を身につけることを目指す。 William Shakespeare, The Taming of the Shrewを読む。 The Taming of the ShrewはWilliam Shakespeareの喜劇の代表作の一つである。精読しながら、Shakespeareの韻文への理解を深めるとともに、本文研究、演劇史研究、批評理論など、文学研究の諸相についての知識を広げることを目指す。
授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	授業は精読を中心に行う。各自が精読してきた部分について、質問や問題点を議論し、コメントする。 参考文献については、内容を要約して提出してもらい、コメントを返す。 映像、音声教材も利用する予定である。
事前?事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	テキストの指定された部分について、事前に精読しておく。（所要時間の目安は2時間） 事後には指定された参考文献を読む。（所要時間の目安は2時間）
